Boarding & Grooming Requirements

If your pet is seeing us for the first time for our boarding or grooming services there are a few important things you need to know:

  • We offer our Boarding and Grooming services as a patient privilege. It is a requirement for your pet to have received a wellness exam by one of our staff Veterinarians performed within the last year.
  • For your dog to receive grooming or boarding services with us, we require that the Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Kennel Cough, Leptospirosis, and Influenza (both strains) vaccines be up-to-date, as well as a negative fecal exam performed within the last year. We are happy to provide these services during your pet's stay if needed.
  • All animals must be free of internal and external parasites, or they will be treated at the owner’s expense.

Boarding at Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic

We know how important it is for you to know your pet is happy, comfortable, and safe while you are away. We provide clean, comfortable accommodations in a climate controlled, state-of-the-art facility 365 days a year. We treat your pets like our own and want their experience to be as safe and happy as possible by providing one-on-one attention and multiple walks every day in our outdoor fenced yards.

Grooming at Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic

Long and medium hair dogs and cats need regular clipping to avoid hair becoming matted and heavy. After our expert professionals have completed grooming your pet will feel lighter, fresher and much more comfortable. Our professional groomers can also help spot and prevent small problems from becoming more severe. This includes keeping an eye out for lumps, bumps and rashes, and they will take care of expressing anal glands.
